Storm Damage – Los Angeles Office Building
Storm damage at this Los Angeles office building occurred when the roof was damaged during a bad storm. The breach in the roof led to severe flooding of the top floor of the building. The real estate property management firm that managed the building was familiar with SERVPRO of Marina Del Ray / Westchester / El Segundo and our work. The management company reached out to us for help. The first thing our crew did when they arrived at the building was to put tarps on the section of roofing that had been damaged. This was to prevent any more water from entering the building. They would then prepare a damage assessment report and a plan of action for water damage restoration to document the process for the management company and their insurance company. The standing water would be extracted with truck mounted extraction equipment, and then a thorough drying process would be performed. Naturally, we would facilitate repair of the roof.
